Welcome to Parcel Wizard. We take your privacy seriously and have set out our privacy statement below to keep you up to date on what information we gather about you and how we use that information.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Acts 1988 – 2003, we (Interlink Ireland Limited, trading as DPD Ireland) are the "data controller" of any personal data that you provide us with.

Gathering information:

Depending on how you use the Parcel Wizard website, we may gather and store different types of information about you. We may match the information we gather from different sources in order to build up a better picture of how we provide our services to you.

Unregistered Visitor

If you are browsing the Parcel Wizard site as a visitor we may gather anonymous information about how you navigate and use our site. We gather this information through dropping "cookies (for more information see our "Cookies" section below). We will use this information to improve the functioning and user-friendliness of the site and so that we can keep track of traffic on the site.

If you to write to, call or email us, we will use your details to respond to you and will keep a record of your correspondence with us.

Registered Users

As part of the Parcel Wizard registration process we will ask for information about you that is necessary to set up your account and to provide the Parcel Wizard service to you. This will include personal information such as your name, address, contact details and delivery preferences.

·set up your account and to provide the Parcel Wizard service to you;

·advise you about your upcoming deliveries and allow you to communicate your delivery preferences to us;

·send you account updates and reminders;

·send you information about new offerings and features of the Parcel Wizard service;

·send you marketing communications about offers, products and services that you might be interested in from DPD companies  and from our trusted third party partners (you will always have the option of opting out of receiving these messages as set out in the "unsubscribe" part of the message); and

·keep track of your use of Parcel Wizard to build up a picture of how you use our service on the whole.

·communicate about, and administer your participation in, special events, programmes, surveys, contests

·Perform data analyses (including market and consumer search, trend analysis)

·Protect against, identify and prevent fraud and other criminal activity, claims and other liabilities

Please do not share your Parcel Wizard login details with anyone else. You will be responsible for any activity from your Parcel Wizard account and we will always assume that you are in sole control of the account. We will not be liable to you for any third party's activity from your account unless we are at fault.

Sharing information:

We may share your information with other DPD entities in order to provide information and services you request from us.

Other than as required by law or government authority or in order to provide the service requested by you we will not share your information with third parties without your consent.

Information exchanged between you and the consigner of your goods (i.e. the trader or other third party who you have requested goods from) is outside the scope of this privacy statement. This information may be processed by us in the course of delivery of your goods and in such circumstances we are acting on the instructions of the consigner.

If you are a registered user of the Parcel Wizard service, we may match the information provided by you to your consigner with our Parcel Wizard user database in order to verify our records. Once we have verified your account we will use your account information to communicate with you about your delivery and to deliver according to your preferences.

Storing Information:

We are committed to keeping your information safe and secure and we employ appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent unauthorised access to your information.

Requests for Information:

You can contact us at any time to find out what information we hold about you. If you feel that our information is inaccurate or incorrect we will be happy to correct it.
